The idea of this illustration is the stranger in the forest. Looking at things the other way round in the way of saying: what does nature make of us?
I used wax resist, watercolours and some pen and ink to achieve a sense of depth but also translucency. The red fly agaric' add for me a feeling of faerie and a reminder that such places are fully alive whether we are there or no. They exist and they let us pass pass by.
