Wise women abound in the realms of Elsewhere and I think I would feel very at home and in esteemed company within the pages of Paul’s books! I know I would and, indeed, have, much to learn from Gallamarr, The Grandmother, General Vasillisa and The Wandering Woman, to name but a few.

I first met Paul as a storyteller, already a Master of his craft with an eye for detail and the ability to bring the characters to life.  Over the years, as our friendship grew, he would tell me snippets of story or share a drawing from this incredible world that he had created. When he told me that he was going to write 9 books on the Realms of Elsewhere, I was so excited. The thought that he was going to bring his stories into the light and share them was wonderful. I am delighted to be accompanying him on this extraordinary journey.

Paul and I are very similar, in that we often dwell in the space betwixt and between realities. This means that we have incredible, enriching, creative and, sometimes, totally bonkers conversations! My role is intangible, as it often occurs in the liminal spaces of these conversations but also very real as problems are solved and bridges built. 

Paul has given me the title of wise woman or mentor. I am very proud that he values my thoughts on the Realms of Elsewhere and I feel honoured to be part of the Elsewhere team.
