This porcelain sculpture is inspired by the grand tapestries of stately homes. Under the cover of night, the Queen of the Weave awakens, becoming the cloth itself to walk among the stag, deer, wolf, owl, and badger sewn into its threads.
At the back stands a forest child, the one who discovered the tapestry draped over a branch deep in the woods.
Fired three times for its rich detail and finish:
900°C – Biscuit firing
1300°C – Glaze and clay
780°C – Final lustre in gold, copper, and silver
